1: The
symbol of the Nike subsidiary company Jordan Brand. Used as a
replacement for the original Air Jordan symbol, the Jumpman first
appeared in 1988 on the Air Jordan III. Today, the Jumpman symbol
can be found on all Jordan Brand products and packages.
Note: Contrary to most beliefs, the
Jumpman symbol is not a silhouette of Michael Jordan performing a
dunk, but rather a layup.
