Overhyped and overpriced. That's what a lot of sneakerheads
(including myself) said when Jordan Brand released the
"Lightning" and "Thunder" packs back in 2006.
Somehow, both packs managed to sell out immediately, even at the
retail prices of $250 for the Lightning pack and a whopping $500
for the Thunder pack. To put more salt on the wounds, there's a
rumor that Jordan Brand plans to bring back the Thunder colorway.
There's no confirmation yet (image below is of 2006 version), but
if they do release don't expect a full package. Would you cop?
