Well, it turns out that Nike's production factory (Pao Chen, I assume) screwed up the order, producing not one, not 1000, but 10,000 pairs with a black outsole. At $160 a pair, that's $1.6 million in merchandise!

At a such a high volume, don't expect these to just disappear. More than likely, Jordan Brand will issue a new colorway, and release these as well, or perhaps they will go straight to the outlets.
