Rare Air: Air Jordan 1 Retro Black Patent Leather Sample

With so many Air Jordan 1 colorways released over the past few years, it's no surprise to see a few that just didn't quite make the cut. Here's one that should have, IMO. This pair has been completely covered in black patent leather, complemented with a white sole, and a medium grey sock liner. The tongue logo has been stitched in white to match. Looking at the tag, it looks like these samples were created in '09, so chances are they won't be going into production.
