Shortly after
the original
Nike Air Foamposite One debuted in 1997, pictures of a
metallic silver pair surfaced. There were tons of rumors and even
a few guys got there hands on samples, but these never saw a
release date, except for a Foam Pro version. Well, Nike has proved
again that they actually do listen every now and then. On March
19, they will finally be released. The official color scheme is
Metallic Pewter/black, but I think these will be more than close
enough to please even the purest sneakerheads (I'm stoked).
Currently, there are quite a few pairs on ebay.
The price is a little higher, but if you how fast Foams go on
release day, it might be worth the piece of mind. Here's
