each model, Nike has made it a tradition with the Zoom Kobe to
give tribute to Kobe's high school, Lower Merion High. This year,
they've gone all-out with this beautiful Kobe VI colorway. Done in
school colors, of course, it uses a grey base overlaid with white
scales, and finished off with a red swoosh and a matching red Kobe

new year just yet. Here's a look at the YOTR Air Jordan 2011
Q-Flights. This pair uses a combination of nubuck suede and mesh
material, and has a mostly black upper, complemented with gold and

If you
were into the sneaker game back in '05, you definitely remember
the White/Varsity Red-Steel Grey. They were one of the few
well-received releases among a number of disappointing colorways,
and sold fairly well in stores. This pair, however is not quite
the pair we remember from 2005. This is actually an unreleased
sample, with one major difference. Instead of the silver sock
liner, this pair has received a checkerboard pattern, very similar
to that of the White/Black-Steel Grey Xs. It might not seem like
much, but IMO, Jordan Brand's decision to switch to a solid liner
was a good one, as this seems to take away the attention from the

Thanks to the folks
at Sole Patrol, we finally have a detailed look at the upcoming
Cool Grey/Imperial Blue Air Jordan 1 Phat. As you can see from the
pics, Jordan Brand has applied it's faux carbon fiber material to
this sneaker, also combined with perforated leather. Some extra
color is added via a set of imperial blue laces, and a blue Air

These have been getting quite a few mixed responses around the

welcomes has decided back the Air Jordan 1 in it's true high top
form, starting with a few new colorways. Here's a look at the
White/University Blue release. The love-it-or-hate-it nubuck suede
and patent leather fabrics have been set aside for old school

Hypergamer camo colorway, made for DJ Clark Kent. This time, the
sneaker has received "urban camo", which uses a number
of blues. An orange outlined swoosh and a matching orange sole

received a leather anthracite upper, held together with gold
stitching, and cushioned with a matching gold sole. While there's
not really anything special about these, the overall design has a
very "industrial" look to it. These would make a great

Nike is going full
steam ahead with the Dunk and Air Force 1 VT, starting with their
2011 Holiday lineup. It seems they have gotten a little more
advanced with their Vac Tech (VT), with more complicated colorways
started to appear. So far, we can expect one Dunk High, two low top AF1 releases,
and one high strap. At the rate that Nike's VT is increasing in
popularity, don't be surprised to see more colorways, or even new

material has made its way to the Air Max CB34, and on a very
bright new colorway. Using Ripstop material, the entire upper has
been covered with varsity red, with the exception of the white

I'm sure a lot of
you remember the highly popular Black/Max
Orange Air Jordan I Retro from 2009, but did you know that
they were originally planned to release in a Black/Infrared color
scheme? As you can see from this sample below, the overall color
pattern remains the same, but max orange over black leather upper
has been replaced with infrared patent leather and black nylon
materials. While I'm not a big fan of patent leather on Air Jordan
1s (too squeaky), there's no doubt these would have been a nice
release. If you'd like you get your hands on this sample pair,

technology has finally made it's way to the world of basketball
sneakers in the form of the Nike Lunarflow Hypergamer. Using a
lightweight Lunarlon sole and and even lighter upper, this looks
to be Nike's lightest basketball sneaker yet. This camouflage
colorway may not be for everyone, but you can definitely expect to

The already
high-tech Air Jordan 2011 gets one last update, this time with a
feature we're used to seeing on Nike's basketball and running
sneakers. The entire upper has been reinforced with Flywire
technology, creating an even stronger and more stable sneaker, and
probably lighter as well. This first colorway has received a white
and black color scheme, which consists black patent leather over
white full-grain leather. It almost looks like the love-child of
the White/Black-Dark

Here's a new teaser
picture of the upcoming 2012 White/Black-Cement Grey Air Jordan IV
Retro. I'm not sure if it's the paint or the lighting, but the
cement grey on these looks significantly darker than on the originals
or 1999 Retro release. Also, the speckles look to be more greyish
than before, almost blending in with the cement color. Hopefully

After the release of
the Jordan
Fly Wade, it seemed highly unlikely that Jordan Brand would
release the Air Jordan Fly 23, mainly due to their similar
appearance. Fortunately, Jordan Brand gave them the go ahead, and
they are on the way. This Black/White colorway is one of the first
releases we'll see. Using a shiny leather and mesh material, the
upper has been done in black, contrasted with white accents, and a
matching white outsole. Expect to see them in stores next month.

and GR,
but what about some original color schemes? Don't worry, Nike SB
has you covered. Check out this all-new Dunk Low colorway, planned
to hit stores in the spring. This pair has received blue suede
along the main profile, and black pebbled leather covers the inner
panels. A matching black swoosh is held onto the sneaker via
yellow contrast stitching, and a white and blue sole complete the

this new Air Jordan 1 Phat colorway, planned to release this year
alongside a slew of other hot AJ1s. Nicknamed "Yankees",
this pair has a received a design that matches the teams uniform,
done in two shades of obsidian blue, and finished off with a white
and blue sole. Navy and mesh cover most of the sneaker except for
the swoosh, which has received a blue elephant print. Very subtle,

Dave White
brings us yet another hot Air Jordan 1 colorway, created for the
WINGs for the Future charity program. Created in a very similar
fashion to the very limited Dave
White WINGs colorway posted back in February, this pair has
received a white white, red, and black color scheme, with with
elephant print eyelets, and a black splatter pattern, overlaid
with white stars. The tongue logo has received a red splatter
pattern, and a fourth color has been added via a gray sock liner.
While still very limited, these should be a little easier to get
than the first Dave
White x WINGS release, which was only limited to 23 pairs.

Here's an
early look at two colorways planned for the upcoming Nike Huarache
Free 2012, which combines the Nike Free with the Nike Huarache.
The first pair color scheme, has a mostly medium grey upper, with
a bright blue insole, and matching blue laces, finished off with a
white outsole. The second colorway is a bit stealthier, with a
black upper, yellow accents, and the same white sole. Keep

This new Air
Max 95 colorway should be a sure hit with Chicago White Sox and
San Antonio Spurs fans. It has a black upper, and uses a number of
silver and grey colors to create a very nice gradient pattern.
Silver and white eyelets add a bit to the sneaker as well. You may
notice that, instead of the usual leather or nubuck suede upper,
this pair consists mostly of meshes and patent leather, making for

Tiffany Dunks. They have a primarily black upper, followed by

Contrary to
my belief, the camo Kobe VI releases must be quite popular,
because Nike just keeps kicking them out. Here's a look at one of
the latest camoflauged Kobes. This time, a grayish camo upper has
been used overlaid with a concord swoosh and a matching sock
liner. To add a little more color, the tongue Kobe symbol has been
colored red. A black and white sole helps to finish off the look.
Not really a big fan of the camo colorways, but if I had to
choose, I'd go with these. If you'd like to get your hands on a
pair, they are available now on eBay.

While this
year's NBA season may or may not happen this year, Nike is pushing
forward with the LeBron 9. Using a similar but higher profile cut
compared to the LeBron 8s, the 9s have been updated with the
latest technology. Nike decided to stick with Air Max for the
sole, using a 180-degree Max Air unit, paired with a carbon fiber
plate at the midfoot. The upper has received Nike's lightweight
woven material, greatly increasing breathe ability, while Flywire

These days,
music artists are always getting signature sneakers, so who would
be more deserving of his own pair than Michael Jackson? Well,
there's still no signature sneaker for MJ, but Nike did create
this beautiful pair of Dunks, inspired by the King of Pop. Using
croc skin, this sneaker has received an entirely black upper. A
white and black sole has been mated to match. On the back it reads
"MICHAEL JACKSON", stitched in gold. Maybe one day,

completely white sole. These were worn by EJ during his time with
the Memphis Grizzlies. To match the uniform, the Jumpman as well
as a few other sections have been done in blue. They are a little
plain, but overall, a very nice player exclusive. If you'd like to

Here's a look
at yet another Dunk Low SB colorway, scheduled to hit stores next
fall. Called "Gold Dust", this pair lives up to its name
with a gold dust yellow upper, made entirely of canvas. A black
swoosh and matching stitches add a little more color, but the red
sock liner really gives the sneaker personality. The Gold Dust
Dunk Low SB is scheduled to release in September. Click
