Nicknamed the
"All-Stars", the white/black-varsity
red XX3s were released on February 16. Despite
their name, none of the Jordan Brand players
actually wore these in the 2008 NBA All-Star
game, they opted to wear uniform-matching
"East" and "West" PEs
instead. The XX3s didn't need much publicity,
however, as this colorway sold out in most areas
within a few hours.
The All-Stars have a mostly white upper, with a
black midsole, followed by a white outsole.
While side uses leather, you'll find patent
leather on the tongue and toe box, which ends
with red suede on the tip. The stiching on the
side is a red and black pattern of Michael
Jordan's initials, done in a similar style to
his actual signature.
